Air Quality Compliance
JCO scientists and engineers deliver significant experience to help clients meet challenges in air quality compliance and air permitting.
We perform air pollutant impact analyses and modeling, and prepare operating and new source construction permit applications. Air permit applications may require Best Available Control Technology (BACT), and Reasonably Available Control Technology (RACT) analyses for federal Clean Air Act compliance. We also do Most Stringent Emission Rate (MSER) and Hazardous Most Stringent Emission Rate (HMSER) analyses for air permits. Other services we provide include the preparation of air emission inventories, air toxics reporting, and ambient air monitoring.
Satisfied industrial clients we have provided air-permitting services for include:
- gas fired cogeneration
- asphalt batching
- gravel processing
- chemical manufacturing
- a prison, and
- a helicopter maintenance facility
