The Johnson Company provided third party opinions regarding the need for additional subsurface investigation and remediation requirements for future site development of a RCRA and Superfund site following a detailed analysis of available site data. Opinions included selection of the most appropriate methods for future investigations and remediation involving numerous contaminants including LNAPL, DNAPL, metals, PCB, and asbestos. The project team included collaboration with indoor air and building construction experts to determine an accurate and defensible cost and schedule for a substantial building construction effort over contaminated soils and groundwater. The Johnson Company created the 3-D graphics and visualizations used to summarized collaborative opinions and conceptualizations of subsurface conditions. Opinions also included extensive detailed estimates of future costs and schedules.

Working with a major site construction contractor and cost estimators, The Johnson Company developed a realistic remediation schedule and cost estimate that supported a lease extension at the existing headquarters to allow sufficient time for an appropriate remediation of the new site to protect the health of construction workers and future building occupants.
