Senior to Intermediate-Level Environmental Engineer
The Johnson Company is seeking a candidate with a graduate degree in environmental engineering or similar field and with at least 6 to 8 years of applied and practical consulting experience to manage environmental site remediation projects and investigations. Experience with a wide variety of surface, subsurface, and/or sediment remediation technologies for a variety of contaminants is essential along with demonstrated experience with site investigation techniques. The candidate must have experience with client interaction and presentations; regulatory involvement; and management of field programs, junior staff, subcontractors, and large and small project budgets. The ability and desire to perform various marketing initiatives is also preferred. Project locations may vary throughout New England, nationally and internationally; therefore, some travel should be expected. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential. A minimum of three references are required for consideration.

Senior Ecologist/Environmental Scientist
The Johnson Company is seeking a candidate with a graduate degree in environmental science with at least 6 to 8 years of professional experience with a focus on one or more of the following disciplines: biology; wetland and/or soil science; ecology and ecological risk assessment; and surface water. The candidate would serve as an ecologist and senior project manager for environmental projects that may involve environmental risk and site assessments; natural resource damage and restoration assessments; environmental permitting; and wetland/habitat evaluation and restoration. Experience with and the ability to successfully market energy sector clients desirable. The candidate must have experience with client interaction and presentations; regulatory involvement; and management of field programs, junior staff, subcontractors, and large and small project budgets. The ability and desire to perform various marketing initiatives is also preferred. Project locations may vary throughout New England, nationally and internationally; therefore, some travel should be expected. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential. A minimum of three references are required for consideration.
Field Technician
The Johnson Company seeks an environmental field technician with one to two years of experience to perform field investigation and remediation tasks on a variety of project sites throughout New England, nationally, and possibly internationally. Examples of tasks that may be required include, but are not limited to: groundwater, surface water, and soil sampling; operation of a variety of field sampling and monitoring equipment; drilling-rig operation (training can be provided); and equipment storage management. Experience with the operation and maintenance of heavy equipment is advantageous. The ability to travel to field sites for several weeks at a time and perform outdoor tasks in a variety of weather conditions throughout the year is essential. A technical school or college degree in engineering or environmental sciences is a plus. In addition to an aptitude for operating scientific and other technical equipment, the candidate must have an understanding of personal computer operation for data entry and processing, scheduling, and report writing. Written and verbal communication skills are important. Candidates should provide a minimum of three references for consideration.
